The Production Assembler is responsible for assembling products and components according to specifications, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring production goals are met in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble products, components, and parts according to work instructions and specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify and report defects, material shortages, or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Meet daily production quotas and performance expectations.
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing finished products for shipment as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and assembly diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- May require standing for extended periods.
- Exposure to moderate noise levels and varying temperatures depending on the facility.
