Front Loader Operator
Our client, a leading global manufacturer and supplier to the oil and gas industry, is currently seeking an experienced Forklift/ Front Wheel Loader experience to assist with projects at their facility located in Blytheville, Arkansas. This is a 3-6 month contract with the possibility of being extended for the right candidate.
Must have a good driving record. Previous experience operating heavy equipment is preferred but will train qualified individuals. Training is on first shift. Once training is completed, Operators will do shift work.
As an overhead Crane Operator your main responsibility is to operate a CAT 950M Wheel Loader with fork attachment to move materials and scrape. Your detail and attentiveness is critical. Must have the ability to detect defects, secure cargo and load material according to customer standards.
Description:
Operate heavy industry forklifts and loaders to transport materials to and from areas in manufacturing facility and plant yard as well as load/ unload trucks within areas of assignment.
Pull material and move scrape, ensure accuracy of transfer, and help maintain all of plant yard area.
Inspect equipment daily and maintain up-to-date forklift and wheel loader training.
Communicate safety concerns and quality problems to supervisor and/or shift lead
Requirements:
2+ years of experience operating Forklifts and Loaders with fork attachment
Knowledge of current forklift and wheel loader operation protocol.
Forklift certification or ability to pass company’s forklift training required.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
